Christian Healing Prayer- Healing Prayer using The Holy Bible

Christian Healing Prayer- What is a healing prayer? Is prayer all about asking God to heal us from our sins? Or could it be, that there's more to healing prayer than asking the Lord to take our troubles away? Before we can understand prayer more clearly we need to define prayer. Webster dictionary states that Prayer is: "a aspiration intended to be addressed to a deity; an petitioners' plea for release or healing." Well, that's really how it started in the Bible. Remember when God created the world, He did so by speaking? It was not a chaotic effort. There was a purpose to His creation. And after all, God does give us instructions for our own benefit. "May all men be healed." "May this sick flesh be healed." "May He increase our life gradually." These prayers were inspired by God. So that's what prayer is. Our spoken prayers to God. But like all relationship, we have to nurture our relationship with God. We have to get to know Him not just on a purely verbal level but also on a personal level. Before you can really understand His word, you have to take it personal.

The Apostle James puts it this way, "Doth not every good tree bear good fruit? Mine are the Portofillential Grapes, so that they give increase; lest it be credited to thine own works." There's a reason why the Bible refers to us as "fruits" of the Spirit. That's how God sees us. Our fruit is what manifesting the works of the Spirit is all about. The Holy Spirit is theator that shows us what personal healing should look like in our lives. The results of the healing of a person can be camouflage when there isn't much manifestation of it. But, again, even with less manifestation, God can always work wonders. But how we speak to Him is very important.

Some people complain that they pray to God and don't get anything from Him. But the Lord acts on our prayers when we acknowledge Him in all sincerity. Remember Moses didn't act on the basis of talk. He had a clear conscience. He had come to do the Lords will and he purified his heart towards the Lord, so He could do the work. Therefore, if we can sincerely acknowledge Him, He will work that way in our lives as well. He will direct our path towards healing, wholeness, and prosperity. God can be an open book because He will tell you what to do, how to heal, and what not to do. He can also direct you to people who can help you. Search for a mentor you can trust who will not lead you astray.

However, you can only trust God with all your heart. There is no amount of money or security that is worth putting your trust in God. People have spent a lot of money on books to learn and study the Word of God. Unfortunately, most of the self-help books written today is deception, instead of empowering the people to change their lifestyle and live a purposeful life.

Before you can really discern if someone is an authentic Christian, you have to spend time with them. It's hard to find time for everything when you have a life that is filled with so many other things. However, if you don't spend time with God, you will miss it. This may be stating the obvious, but you can't get something out of nothing. Look at the economy. Things are just bad and getting better. The only thing that is going up is love. If you're hurting, go to God and pour your heart out to Him. He is listening and He will show you the right people to talk to about this. Don't be afraid to let God serve you if it's the only thing you can do. God wants to meet you where you are at right now. Love is where you are at right now.

We all need encouragement. This is why we like reading the Bible. It gives us hope and peace. God never goes wrong. If you are hurting right now, pull your weapon of choice and let God annihilate that hurt. Don't run away from Him. Let Him serve you instead. God pulled out the plague from the side of the Pharisees when they refused to love the Lord. The disease of depression is a clear picture of the lack of God's love in our coveting. God says, "One thing you must love, that is to love others, with no exceptions. No limits, no restrictions, no strings attached."

relegated love to a list of categories, only God could categorize. Now, as passionate as you are for others, realize that this love is constant and absolute. If you could make the connection between where God is and where you are, your whole perspective on love would change.
